HONOLULU, Hawaii - In Tulane's fourth day in Hawaii, the Tulane football closed out their pregame practices with a sharp session in shorts and helmets. Following practice, the Green Wave took their 2002 team picture and rounded out the evening with a barefoot pep rally on Waikiki Beach.
At the pep rally, T.J. Henry, Lonnie Crayton, Taylor Bertin and Mark Burgess combined to defeat a quartet of players from the University of Hawaii in a steak-eating contest 14-13. But it was head coach Chris Scelfo who drew the biggest uproar from the crowd when he challenged the Warriors' mascot with a traditional Polynesian yell.
In the fourth of a week-long series of "Answers From The Island", Green Wave players share their thoughts on today's question:
Now that practice has come to an end, how do you feel about the ConAgra Foods Hawaii Bowl contest against the UH Warriors on Christmas Day?

"I think we're very prepared to play this football game. We had almost a month now to get ready and now, I think everyone is going to see a very good game on Wednesday. We just need to stay focused, keep plugging and I think we're as ready as we've ever been. -- LB Brandt Quick
