A 6-3 center, Teana McKiver has been an impact player for the Green Wave for the last three seasons and is set to leave the school ranked among the all-time leaders in blocked shots, field goal percentage and scoring. Earlier this year, McKiver scored her 1,000th career point at Tulane. Majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology, McKiver was named an honorable mention All-American by Basketball Times last year and earned recognition as a Tulane Scholar-Athlete following the fall semester with a gpa above 3.0. She leads Tulane with a 11.8 scoring average in 2002-03 while her 69 blocks are more than Tulane's opponents have totalled this year.
