Mabry Garners CSC Academic All-District Recognition
Mar 24, 2026 | Women's Basketball
NEW ORLEANS – College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced today the 2026 Academic All-District® women's basketball honorees as selected by the organization to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Tulane senior Amira Mabry is the lone Green Wave player to garner the honor this season. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
This is Mabry's third-career selection as she received the award in both 2024 and 2025. Tulane now has eight CSC Academic All-District recipients since 2000, as Mabry's trio of honors stands alongside Britt Themann (2002, 03), Jamie Kaplan (2014), Irina Parau (2024), and Victoria Keenan (2025).
Mabry is a native of Converse, Texas, and while athletically a senior, she is academically a graduate student after already earning her bachelor's degree from Tulane. She is currently working on her master's degree in neuroscience and boasts a cumulative GPA of 3.942.
The forward averaged 9.9 points per game this season while starting all 31 of Tulane's contests. She shot 45.3 percent from the floor and averaged 6.0 rebounds per game. Mabry was third on the team in scoring this season, and her shooting clip was second on the squad among players with at least 50 attempts. Mabry reached a pair of major milestones during the campaign, notching her 500th career rebound and scoring her 1,000th career point. She is the 33rd member of Tulane's 1,000-points club.
Mabry closed her Tulane career at 23rd on the Green Wave all-time scoring list with 1,083 total points. She shot 50.9 percent from the floor across her four seasons, ranking 10th all-time in program history for field goal percentage. Mabry totaled 629 rebounds with 38 blocks, 68 steals, and 82 assists.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 15.
