Tulane Men's Tennis Tops Tulsa in Blue-Gray Semis

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Tulane University cruised to a 4-0 victory over the University of Tulsa on Saturday in the semifinals of the Blue-Gray Men's Tennis Classic at Lagoon Park Tennis and Golf Club.
The Green Wave, ranked No. 27 in the nation, now owns a four-match winning streak. It will face No. 17 VCU in the Championship match on Sunday afternoon.
Tulane's talented combo of Michael Kogan and Victor Romero keyed Saturday's victory. The pair teamed up for an 8-1 victory at No. 1 double, while Kogan had a 7-5, 7-6 win at No. 1 singles. Sophomore Dmitriy Koch also had a straight-set victory in singles action, winning 6-3, 6-2, while senior Mattias Westerberg rolled to a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles.
