One of two seniors on the 2002-03 Tulane women's tennis team, Lucy Wood helped the Green Wave reach previously unprecedented success as the squad is currently ranked 25th in the NCAA with a 13-3 overall record. As a senior, Woods has gone 3-1 in singles play and combined with Jenny Kuhn for a 3-0 doubles mark while winning one match while sharing the court with Erika Valdes. Last spring, Wood went 12-5 in singles play, including a perfect 7-0 mark in Conference USA action, and earned Tulane's Most Improved Player honors. Off the court, she is a two-time Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll recipient and was a 2002 ITA Scholar-Athlete All-American. Wood and the Green Wave take on LSU on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the inaugural "Stuff The Stadium" at The Goldring Complex. Hot dogs are available to all in attendance as the Green Wave takes on the arch-rival Tigers.
