Tulane's "A Helluva Hullabaloo" Moves to the Mississippi River

Tulane Athletics invites all Tulane fans, alumni, friends and supporters, as well as members of the New Orleans community, to join the coaches, staff and 2004 Hall of Fame Inductees for the Green Wave's premier fundraising event, "A Helluva Hullabaloo!" Scheduled for Homecoming Eve, Friday, October 22, 2004, this year's third annual gathering will be held on the Creole Queen Riverboat.
Featuring food and drink from many of New Orleans' favorite restaurants, music and a live and silent auction, the "Helluva Hullabaloo" will be held from 7-11 p.m. The new Patron's Party will take place one hour prior to the general opening from 6-7 p.m., and feature some of New Orleans' top business and sports professionals.
In addition to the silent auction, with a wide variety of great products, trips, one-of-a-kind autographed items and services available thanks to the support of outstanding local merchants, there will also be a live auction and introduction of the 2004 Tulane Athletics Hall of Fame Inductees. This year's inductees are Barbara Farris, Glenn Harder, Shaun King, Robert Samuelsson and Chad Sutter, with a special presentation to William A. "Billy" Slatten as he becomes the first recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award which will be presented in his name.
Serving as chairs for the 2004 Helluva Hullabaloo are District 98 representative for the Louisiana House of Representatives and 1993 Tulane Law graduate, Cheryl Gray, and president of New Orleans Hospitality Companies, James E. Smith, Jr.
All proceeds from A Helluva Hullabaloo support Tulane student-athletes through the Tulane Athletics Fund. Join the Wave for an outstanding evening which is sure to be the perfect way to kick off 2004 Homecoming Weekend.
Ticket price for this year's A Helluva Hullabaloo on the Mississippi is $125 per person. Patron's Party tickets are $250 per person.
