Sophomore guard Jami Montagnino dished out six assists and matched a career high with seven boards on Friday.

As a team, Tulane averages 61.0 points and 36.5 rebounds per game. The Green Wave are shooting 39.5 percent on the season, while the defense allows opponents to connect at a .414 clip. On the other side of the ball, the Blazers average 58.6 points per outing while the defense allows an average of 71.1 points.
The Blazers also lost a close one on Friday night, 65-61, at the hands of Southern Miss. Down by nine in the second half, the Blazers battled back to cut the Southern Miss lead to one, 59-58, with 2:42 left in the game, but Shannon Stueber's bucket with 1:21 left put USM up three and they never looked back. UAB was led in scoring by Lauren Brittingham's 14 points while Domaneice Moore tallied a double-double for UAB with 13 points and a career-high 14 rebounds.
Carmen Guzman leads the Blazers in the scoring column, averaging 13.8 points a ballgame while Crystal McFadden chips in 12.3 per game. Leading the rebounding attack is Moore, who pulls in 7.8 boards a contest.
