Tulane Tennis to Honor Dmitriy Koch on Sunday

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Tulane men's tennis team will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday afternoon at the Goldring Tennis Complex as the 17th-ranked Green Wave hosts No. 42 UL-Lafayette at 4 p.m. The lone senior on the team, Dmitriy Koch, will be recognized between doubles and singles at approximately 5:15 p.m. Admission is free.
Prior to the match at 3:30 p.m., the Tulane Greenbackers will sponsor a free crawfish boil as well as the Green Wave tennis program thanks its fan for their support throughout the season.
Tulane comes into Sunday's match with an impressive 17-4 record, including wins in 11 of its last 12 matches. Koch is approaching the end of his third season with the Green Wave and has posted a career record of 47-23 in singles and 36-24 in doubles. He has played the majority of this season as Tulane's No. 1 doubles player.
After the UL-Lafayette match, the Wave will close the regular season on the road at No. 16 LSU (Wednesday, 4 p.m.) and at Southern Miss (Saturday, 4 p.m.). The Conference USA Tournament begins April 21 in Louisville, Ky., as Tulane will look for its fifth championship under head coach Robert Klein. The winner of the C-USA Tournament receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament; the Wave has advanced to the NCAAs eight straight years.
