New Orleans, LA, - Tulane University and CSTV Online have teamed up to relaunch TulaneGreenWave.com (www.TulaneGreenWave.com) the official site of Tulane University athletics, just one day after Tulane University officially re-opened for the spring semester.
Yesterday marked the first time that all student-athletes, coaches and staff were back together in New Orleans since evacuating the city on Aug, 27-28. The Tulane campus in New Orleans was closed throughout the fall due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina and the Green Wave Athletics teams, coaches and staff spent the fall semester at four sites in Louisiana and Texas.
"The website is one of the most effective communication and marketing tools we have, and that was especially true over the last five months when our teams were displaced and our staff and fan base scattered," said Donna Turner, Tulane Assistant Athletic Director. "We're excited about the new look of the site and hope that everyone that visits will have an improved experience. We plan to continue to add more content and features in the coming months."
The site contains features and applications that will bring Green Wave alumni and fans closer than ever to their favorite Tulane teams and student-athletes. CSTV.com is a business unit of CSTV: College Sports Television (www.collegesports.com), the home of college sports.
