Tulane Athletics to Hold Spring Sports Luncheon March 16

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane fans, supporters and friends are invited to the 2006 Tulane Athletics Spring Sports Luncheon on Thursday, March 16 at Café Adelaide with featured speakers Tulane Athletic Director Rick Dickson and Head Baseball Coach Rick Jones along with other Green Wave coaches.
Dickson will discuss rebuilding Tulane Athletics in the wake of Hurricane Katrina while Jones will talk about his 2006 team and the upcoming Conference USA race. Other possible speakers include Tulane men's and women's basketball coaches Dave Dickerson and Lisa Stockton, men's golf coach Tom Shaw and women's track and field coach Heather Van Norman.
The luncheon will begin at Noon at the restaurant, located at 300 Poydras Street, and free valet parking is available. Cost to attend the Tulane Athletics Spring Sports Luncheon is $25 per person which can be paid at the door. All are invited to attend and all proceeds benefit the Tulane Athletics Fund.
