Tulane Fall Kickoff Luncheon Scheduled for August 30

New Orleans - The Tulane Athletic Department will host its 2006 Fall Kickoff Luncheon on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at noon at the Palace Café, 605 Canal Street. Fans are invited to hear head coaches Chris Scelfo (football), Liz Kritza (volleyball) and Heather Van Norman (cross country/track), along with Green Wave athletic director Rick Dickson, discuss their upcoming seasons and the latest Tulane Athletics happenings. Limited space is available and tickets are $35 per person.
In addition, head coaches Rick Jones (baseball), Dave Dickerson (men's basketball) and Lisa Stockton (women's basketball) will also be available to meet and interact with during the luncheon.

The Green Wave sports seasons get underway on Friday, Aug. 25th when the Tulane volleyball team opens the season at home with the Kathy Trosclair Memorial Invitational at the Reily Center on the TU campus. The Tulane football season opens on Saturday, Sept. 9 when the Green Wave travels to Houston, Texas, to take on Conference USA foe Houston live on College Sports Television.
