Green Wave Sights Still on Bowl

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane's football team returned to the practice field Monday afternoon with their sights still set on becoming bowl eligible.
The Green Wave (3-5, 1-3 C-USA) needs three victories to reach the goal of becoming eligible for a post-season game. This Saturday, Tulane hosts Southern Miss at 2:30 p.m. CDT in the second of four straight home games.
Monday's practice lasted 14 periods as the squad prepares for the Golden Eagles (5-3, 2-2 C-USA). USM is coming off a double overtime loss at home against UAB.
Following Saturday's game, Tulane will complete its home schedule with Rice (Nov. 13) and UCF (Nov. 20) before visiting Marshall (Nov. 27) to close out the regular season.
