Youth Leads Men's Tennis on Day Two at UNCW

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Youth led the way for the Tulane men's tennis team on Saturday in day two of the 2011 UNCW Fall Invitational held at the Althea Gibson Tennis Complex as sophomore Takuma Ohashi and freshman Iain Sneddon each advanced to the finals of their respective flights.
Ohashi will face William & Mary's Ilja Orre in the final of Flight C at 9 a.m. CDT Sunday after getting past No. 3 seed Fahoum Fahoum of Old Dominion, 6-3, 6-3, late Friday night and defeating UNCW's Michael Reilly, 3-6, 7-5, 7-5, Saturday afternoon to reach the title match.
Sneddon will play No. 4 seed Zach Hublitz of UNCW in the final of Flight D at 9:30 a.m. CDT Sunday. Sneddon, from London, Ontario, defeated No. 2 seed James Jones (Campbell), 6-2, 5-7, 6-4, late Friday before taking No. 3 seed Matt Kealy of UNCW, 6-0, 6-0, on Saturday to reach the final.
Tulane's doubles team of Idan Mark and Joe Young, the No. 3 seed n Flight A doubles, will play in the semifinals Sunday, while the duo of Etham Frenkel and Sneddon will meet teammates Adam Bernstein and Takuma Ohashi on Sunday in the semifinals of Flight B doubles.
Frenkel will face off with Coastal Carolina's Mo Hookaylo in the consolation final of Flight D on Sunday.
