Basketball Radio Shows Debut Next Week

NEW ORLEANS - With the New Year and a new conference upon us, the Tulane basketball radio shows will make their debuts for the 2014-15 season this coming week with the "Tulane Men's Basketball Show with Ed Conroy" starting on Monday, January 5th live from 6 - 7 p.m. CT at Amici Ristorante & Bar located at 3218 Magazine Street and the "Tulane Women's Basketball Show with Lisa Stockton" starting on Thursday, January 8th live from 6-7 p.m. CT at Louisiana Pizza Kitchen Riverbend location at 615 South Carrolton.
The hour-long shows will both air on WMTI FM 106.1 "The Ticket." The men's show will feature fifth-year head coach Ed Conroy and will be hosted by Todd Graffagnini. The women's show will feature head coach Lisa Stockton, who is in her 21st season with the Green Wave, and will be hosted by Gus Kattengell. The call-in numbers are 855-325-7877 for the men's show and 504-260-1061 for the women's show.
Conroy and the Green Wave went 9-3 during the non-conference portion of the schedule that included nine straight wins. Tulane opens its inaugural season in the American Athletic Conference on Wednesday at 11 a.m. CT at East Carolina. The Green Wave will then visit Memphis on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT before returning to Devlin Fieldhouse on January 7 to host Temple for a 6 p.m. CT tip.
Stockton and the Green Wave are 10-2 this season that included a winning streak of five games during the non-conference portion of the schedule. The women are 1-0 in American play after opening with a win at Cincinnati on Sunday. Tulane hosts Houston on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CT in Devlin Fieldhouse.
