Koepfer became the first Green Wave player in program history to reach the final at the All-American Championships. The senior, who was the No. 4 seed in the tournament and given a No. 10 preseason ranking, collected five straight wins to achieve his best career finish at a national championship event. In fact, Koepfer knocked off the No. 22, 25, 38, and 51 ranked players in the nation along the way.
Koepfer also cemented his status among the country's top players, as he has now made three semifinal rounds or better in three of the last four major national championship events.
