NEW ORLEANS - Tulane football (2-7, 1-5 The American | West) hits the road this week for its final non-conference game of the year on Saturday, Nov. 14 with a match-up vs. Army (2-7) at West Point, N.Y. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. CST/12 p.m. EST on the CBS Sports Network.
Tulane is looking for its first road win of the season. The Green Wave are 0-4 overall this season on the road, including 0-1 in non-conference games with a loss at No. 15 Georgia Tech on Sept. 12.

The Game:
- The Green Wave are taking on their second military school this season and is 0-1. Tulane faced new American Athletic Conference member, Navy, on Oct. 24 and fell to the Midshipmen, 31-14.
- Tulane is facing its third option-oriented offense of the season this week in Army, and all three contests are coming on the road. The Wave fell at Georgia Tech and Navy in previous games this season.
- Tulane’s defense surrendered 439 rushing yards at Georgia Tech in its first game of the season against the option, but improved greatly in its second contest at Navy, allowing the Mids just 133 rushing yards on the day.
- Green Wave defenders have held three teams to under 300 yards of total offense this season.
Series History:
- Saturday’s game marks the 20th all-time meeting between Tulane and Army and the series is tied, 9-9-1.
- The Black Knights lead the series on their home field, 6-4. Tulane’s last win at West Point came in 2009, 17-16.
- Tulane and Army have played 15 times over the last 19 years. The only exceptions were 2005 and 2012-14.
- The two teams played to a 0-0 tie in the first-ever meeting in 1953. Army, the nation’s 15th ranked squad at the time of the meeting, was held scoreless for the only time that year.
- Tulane and Army were league rivals in Conference USA from 1998 to 2004, and the Green Wave owned a 4-3 record in league games vs. the Black Knights.
- The Tulane football program will be reunited with one of its own on Saturday. Former Green Wave offensive guard Bob Bodine, who is in his second season as the tight end coach at Army.
- Bodine played for Green Wave from 1991-93 under head coaches Greg Davis (1991) and Buddy Teevans (1992-93) and graduated from Tulane in 1993.

Scouting Army:
- Army (2-7) comes into its contest with Tulane in the midst of a two-game skid and is 1-3 at home this year. The Black Knights have dropped back-to-back match-ups on the road at Rice (38-31) and Air Force (20-3). Their last win came during the last home game against Bucknell (21-14) on Oct. 17.
- Quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw triggers the Army option attack. Bradshaw is the team’s second-leading rusher with 396 yards and four touchdowns on 110 carries (3.6
