Tulane Head Volleyball Coach Sinisa Momic Steps Down
Dec 1, 2015 | Women's Volleyball
NEW ORLEANS - Tulane University Athletics Director Rick Dickson announced today that Green Wave head women's volleyball coach Sinisa Momic has stepped down from his duties, effective immediately.
"We are very appreciative of Sinisa and the job he and his staff did both on and off the court during their seven seasons," Dickson said. "We thank him for his loyalty and commitment to both Tulane and our volleyball program and wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Momic, who was informed his contract would not be renewed, led the Green Wave to a combined 89 victories -- the fifth-most by any volleyball coach in Tulane history โ and an NCAA Tournament appearance in seven seasons. This past season, the Green Wave finished 10-22 overall and 4-16 in American Athletic Conference play.
Tulane will immediately begin a nationwide search for a new head volleyball coach.
