
20th-Ranked Bowlers Travel to Florida This Weekend

DELAND, Fla. - The 20th-ranked Tulane bowling team returns to the lanes this weekend at the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Bethune-Cookman University at the Sunshine Bowling Center.
The Green Wave (37-30) get underway on Friday with five Baker total pins matches, followed on Saturday with five team games. The invitational concludes on Sunday with Baker best-of-seven bracket play.
Joining the Green Wave in Florida are host Bethune-Cookman, Alabama State, UAB, Florida A&M and Southern.
Tulane is led by sophomore Angela Falgoust's total pin average of 198.41, while freshmen Michelle Ng (188.13) and Sarah Forton (187.19) are following closely behind.
"We have been away from competition for almost a month now so the ladies are eager to get back to competitive bowling," Tulane head coach Hayley Veitch. "The ladies have been working very hard in practice to preparation for these next two weeks of tournaments."
After this weekend, the Green Wave will turn right around and travel to Houston for the SFA Jacks Invitational next weekend.
