Question: What made you choose Tulane?
Answer: Tulane offered me a chance to have it all. To participate in collegiate athletics while pursuing a degree in engineering at a prestigious university and live in an amazing city.
Q: How would you describe your transition from high school to college?
A: It's a very different type of schedule. You can have class in the morning and practice and things to do in the middle of the day or vice versa or even night classes. Your days can fill up really fast with so many options.
Q: What has your transition to New Orleans been like?
A: I'm not from too far away (Lafayette, LA) but New Orleans really does have a culture of it's own. The food, music, and people never cease to amaze this little Cajun girl.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Tulane?
A: The list of things I love about Tulane is too long but I really love how much the University actually does for its students. From FAQ and free massages to giving us access to endless research and job opportunities.
Q: What has been your best memory at Tulane so far?
A: Every great thing that's happened comes down to the amazing people I've met since I've moved here. My teammates, my classmates, my roommate... they make everything that's already so amazing about Tulane that much better
Q: What made you choose chemical engineering as a major?
A: I chose chemical engineering because I love problem solving and I've always been good at math and science.
Q: Do you have any specific goals for yourself this year?
A: My goal in everything is to always be getting better. I want to be a better in competition, in the classroom, and in everything else I commit my time to.
Q: If you were stuck on a deserted island, and you only had three things, what would they be?
A: Tony Chachere's - because it can make almost anything taste good
My roommate - because she's roughly 1000% more capable of surviving
A boat - in case we decide to leave ;)
Q: Any plans for after Tulane?
A: I'm not 100% sure where I'll end up but ideally I'll be working for a chemical company somewhere in Louisiana because I love this place too much to leave.
