Tulane launches new gameday mobile application

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane announced the creation of a new social-centric mobile application, "Tulane Gameday", which will connect fans to the action while at the game or watching from home. Tulane partnered with SportsLabs to create this application which ultimately will include every sport Tulane offers.
Tulane Gameday is packed with features, including:
• Live game audio and coaches shows • Live in-game stats
• Real-time Instagram and Twitter feeds from the teams
• Official game-day guides with key times, events and need-to-know information
• Enhanced location-aware maps for fans attending home games
• Team rosters and news
• Links to buy tickets and merchandise
• Opt-in alerts for weather updates, pre-game events, play-by-play information and more.
"We are pleased provide this free, state-of-the-art application for our friends near and far. I want thank Tulane alum and advisory council member Jim Jones (owner of Answer 42 Media, LLC) for donating a tremendous amount of time and energy this summer while working closely with our staff and SportsLabs building this app which rivals any in the country", said Director of Athletics Rick Dickson.
Tulane's Game Day App can be found as a free download in both the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores.
