Women’s Tennis Wrap Day Two Action of ITA Southern Regional

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Tulane women's tennis junior Sade Atkinson looked to continue her hot streak at the ITA Southern Regional on Saturday after a 2-0 start in the singles main draw, which included a victory over No. 51 Natalie Suk of Ole Miss. However, ULM's Stefana Andrei got in Atkinson's way, emerging with the 6-4, 7-5, victory in the Round of 16.

Despite Saturday's loss, Atkinson still boasts a 5-3 fall record and her first career victory over a ranked opponent.

In other action, sophomore Sofia Kurtz bested Svea Mai of Jackson State, 6-4, 6-2, in the Singles B Consolation Draw.
