Football Opens Prep for Tulsa on Tuesday

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane football got back to the grind on the gridiron on Tuesday morning with a two-plus hour practice at Yulman Stadium in preparation for its road matchup at Tulsa,
The two division foes clash on Saturday at 2:45 p.m. CT on ESPNU for the 13th time with the Golden Hurricane holding a 10-2 series lead. Tulane (3-3, 0-2 American Athletic Conference | West) has not won at Tulsa in five previous trips. The Green Wave are seeking their fourth conference win since joining The American and their first on the road since a 31-24 victory at Houston on Nov. 8. 2014. The Golden Hurricane come into the contest off a 38-31 loss at Houston on Oct. 15.
This game marks the first of six straight games over the next six Saturdays for the Wave.
The Olive and Blue return to the friendly confines of Yulman Stadium for homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 29 against SMU.
