AUSTIN, Texas - Tulane women's golf closed out the first half of its Texas swing, finishing just outside the top 10 in 11th at Betsy Rawls Lomghorn Invitational.
The Green Wave posted a 905 (+41) to fall just fives strokes outside of the top 10 against a field that featured four top 25 programs.
Tulane was led by redshirt freshman Elise Genoux and sophomore Laura Munoz, each posted a three-round score of 224 (+8) to finish tied for 23rd. Genoux hovered around par over the 54 holes, starting the tournament with a first round 74. Munoz closed strong with an even par 72 in the third round, carding a birdie on the first hole and a bogey on the 11th hole.
The Green Wave close out their fall slate Oct. 23-25 at the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational hosted by Texas-San Antonio.
