Men’s Tennis Trio to Compete Locally at Big Easy Classic

Star, Wagner and Schupp to represent Green Wave

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane men's tennis trio of Jonathan Star, Eric Wagner and Chase Schupp won't have to venture too far for their next fall tournament when then clash in the Big Easy Classic, hosted by the University of New Orleans. The two-day event starts Friday, Oct. 28, as the Green Wave trio competes in three separate singles draws.
Star will compete in Singles Flight One and will open play on Friday with Nicholls State's Bernard Wezeman. In Singles Flight Two, Wagner battles Jacksonville State's Paolo Cucalon in first round action. Then, over in Singles Flight Three, Schupp takes on another Jacksonville State foe in Jaryd Reese in order to emerge into the semifinal round.
