Women's Tennis Go 7-1 on Friday at Roberta Alison

UPDATED DRAWS
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Tulane women's tennis team shot out of the gates on day one of the Roberta Alison Fall Classic, as the Green Wave foursome of Sofia Kurtz, Sade Atkinson, Kyla Klier and Christina Sisti combined for a 7-1 record in their respective singles and doubles draws.
Atkinson claimed both of her singles matches in straight sets in the Nancy Pate Draw, advancing to the final where she'll clash with Ole Miss' Brooke Stevens. Meanwhile, Sisti improved to 8-2 this fall after a 2-0 day, and will have a chance on Saturday to capture the Patti Farmer Draw title when she squares off against Mississippi State's Sara Lizaniturry.
Action will resume on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. CT with the final two rounds of doubles, followed by the final round of singles.
