Football Hits the Practice Field on Tuesday to Begin Prep for UCF

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane football got back to work on Tuesday morning at Yulman Stadium with the focus on the Green Wave's American Athletic Conference matchup with UCF in Orlando.Â
The Green Wave (3-5, 0-4 The American | West) look to stop their three-game losing streak against the Knights (4-4, 2-2 The American | East), a team coming off a 31-24 loss at then RV/24 Houston on Oct. 29. The two teams were scheduled to square off on Oct. 7 but weather conditions from Hurrican Matthew caused that contest to be posted to Nov. 5. Both Tulane and UCF originally had a bye on Nov. 5. Kickoff on Saturday is set for 4 p.m. on ESPN3.
These two conference fose are meeting for an eighth time with the Knights holding a 5-2 series advantage. The Green Wave won the last year's meeting, 45-31 on Oct. 3, 2015. Tulane is 0-3 in games in this series played in Orlando.
Following UCF, the Olive and Blue remain on the road on Saturday, Nov, 19 at Houston before playing their final regular-season home finale on Saturday, Nov. 19 against Temple.
