Women’s Tennis Gears Up for Final Fall Tournament

NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane women's tennis team looks to continue its successful run of fall tournaments while also ending the fall season on a high note this weekend when the Green Wave head to Baton Rouge for the LSU Tiger Fall Classic. The Olive and Blue will be joined by Princeton, Rice and host LSU in the three-day event starting Friday, Nov. 11, at the brand new LSU Tennis Complex.

The Classic will follow a hidden dual format in which Tulane will ultimately compete against all three teams in a dual match over the span of the weekend, but just not on the same day. For clarification, please see the schedule for the LSU Tiger Classic listed below.

Freshman Christina Sisti and junior Sade Atkinson will look to continue their torrid starts to the year, both leading the Wave with eight singles victories. In fact, both have won seven of their last 10 singles matches, while Atkinson is also your reigning American Women's Tennis Player of the Month.
