Bowling Wraps Up Road Schedule at UMES

NEW ORLEANS – No. 18 Tulane bowling looks to continue its success at the Hawk Classic hosted by No. 11 University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The three-day tournament will be held at Millsboro Lanes in Millsboro, Del.
Tulane faces off against some tough competition at this weekend's tournament, including host UMES, reigning NCAA champion Stephen F. Austin and two-time tournament champion Sam Houston State.
The competition gets underway on Friday with the teams competing in 5 vs. 5 baker matches. Play resumes on Saturday with the teams competing in traditional matches. The competition then comes to a close on Sunday, with the teams competing in bracket matches. Tournament seeding is determined by the teams´performances over the first two days of bowling.
In the last outing, Tulane went 11-0, earning a first place finish at the Jackson State Sonic Boom Invitational. The Green Wave looks to replicate their success at this weekend´s tournament.
