Football Works Out at Yulman, Readies for Road Trip to Orlando

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane football went through its final full practice of the week with a spirited, morning workout at Yulman Stadium on Thursday.
The Green Wave (3-5, 0-4 American Athletic Conference | West) head to Orlando to take on a UCF squad that sits in the middle of the East Division standings in the The American with a 4-4 record overall and a 2-2 mark in conference play. Kickoff on Saturday is set for 4 p.m. on ESPN3.
Head coach Willie Fritz reflected on this week's preparation with positivity as his Tulane squad looks to get back into the win column and keep any postseason possibilities alive.
"I thought we had a pretty good week of practice," said Fritz. "We have to get guys to be able to play multiple positions and that takes a lot of work. I thought it went pretty well."Â
Following UCF, the Olive and Blue remain on the road on Saturday, Nov, 19 at Houston before playing their final regular-season home finale on Saturday, Nov. 19 against Temple.
