No. 18 Bowling Heads West for the Track Kat Klash
Nov 3, 2016 | Women's Bowling
NEW ORLEANS -Â No. 18 Tulane bowling is headed to Houston, Texas for the annual Track Kat Klash. The three-day event, hosted by Sam Houston State, kicks off on Friday, November 4 and runs through Sunday, November 6.
"We are looking for a better performance on Friday in baker-play to start the tournament off strong," said head coach Hayley Veitch. "Now that everyone knows what to expect from a tournament, we are looking to communicate better as a team and to make the necessary adjustments to improve our performance. We will take each match at a time, and the results will take care of themselves."
The competition gets underway on Friday, with the teams competing in five person baker matches. The competition then continues on Saturday, with the teams competing in traditional matches. The Wave's performance on the first two days of competition will determine their seeding for Sunday's bracket matches.
Tulane finished its last tournament in eighth place after being knocked off by No. 10 Fairleigh Dickinson. The Green Wave will look to improve upon its 5-8 record. Â
All matches will be livestreamed on the Tulane Bowling Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/GreenWaveBowl/
