Tulane's Dannen Announces Staff Changes

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane Ben Weiner Director of Athletics Chair Troy Dannen announced a pair of staff changes on Monday, including the promotion of Mary Hoffman to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development and the resignation of Sue Bower.
A native of Metairie, La., Hoffman is in her seventh year at Tulane and is responsible for directing all Tulane Athletics Fund efforts including solicitations, correspondence, benefit fulfillment and special events. Hoffman played a vital role in the fundraising efforts for Yulman Stadium and the renovation of Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse.
Hoffman received her bachelor's degree in communications with a marketing minor from Saint Louis University in 2004.
Bower served in the athletics department for 24 years. She was the head women's golf coach from 1993-2005, leading the Green Wave to two conference titles, five regional showings and the school's first NCAA Championship appearance in 2005, and served as an administrator for the last 11 years.
