
Dominik Koepfer Named to 2016 ITA All-Star Team

Honors top student-athletes of the 2015-16 season
New Orleans - This past week, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its 2016 ITA Collegiate All-Star Team, honoring the the top student-athletes form this past season from all five divisions of collegiate tennis. Rcent Tulane graduate Dominik Koepfer was one of nine Division-I men's tennis players, and one of three singles players, to be named to the 2016 All-Star Team, adding yet another major accolade to a memorable senior campaign.
"This is another great honor for Dominik to cap off a tremendous senior year and career at Tulane," Tulane head coach Mark Booras stated. "To win a national championship and also be named a national player of the year is really quite encouraging and humbling at the same time, knowing where he and Tulane tennis were just a few years ago. Dominik and the rest of the team have really done a fantastic job of getting us back on the national scene and we're all very excited about our future."
The ITA All-Star team features the nation's top-ranked men's and women's players from the year-end Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings, in addition to winners of the 2015 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships and 2016 NCAA Division-I Championships. Koepfer finished the year ranked No. 4 in singles, was a back-to-back NCAA All-American, was named ITA National Men's Senior Player of the Year and won the 2015 National Indoor Intercollegiate National title.
Lastly, the student-athletes listed below will be recognized at the 2016 Oracle/ITA Arthur Ashe/All-Star Weekend, Aug. 25-27 in New York, New York.
