Men's Tennis Begins Final Fall Weekend in Birmingham, Pensacola

NEW ORLEANS - The Tulane men's tennis team will conclude its 2017 fall season by sending players to the CCB Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., and a USTA Futures pro tournament in Pensacola, Fla.
Junior Eric Wagner, sophomore Tim Ruetzel and freshman Hamish Stewart will compete at the Country Club of Birmingham for the tournament hosted by the University of Alabama. Stewart owns the No. 4 seed in the same singles draw as Ruetzel, while Wagner will compete in a separate bracket. Stewart and Ruetzel will play doubles together and hold the top seed in the draw.
In Pensacola, junior Tyler Schick and sophomore Luis Erlenbusch will compete in the qualifying draw, beginning with first round action on Friday. Senior Constantin Schmitz and sophomore Ewan Moore will begin play in the main draw of the tournament which starts Tuesday, Nov. 14.
