NEW ORLEANS – The good news continues to roll in for the now No. 36 Tulane women's tennis team as the American Athletic Conference named sophomore Elena Muller as their women's tennis player of the week. Muller picks up her first career weekly conference honor.
Â
Last week, Muller shone bright in doubles, alongside partner Naz Karagoz at the No. 1 position. Together, the Green Wave duo knocked off No. 43 Ryann Foster/Joana Valle Costa of LSU and No. 35 Petra Granic and Dani Wagland of Texas.
Â
In singles, Muller simply went 3-0 on the week, winning her matches on court five against No. 28 LSU, No. 47 Texas and Utah. As a result, Muller boasts a team high four game win streak and a team high 11-2 dual record this spring.
