Boca Raton, FL – Tulane's women's tennis team fell to Florida Atlantic 4-3 in Boca Raton on Saturday afternoon.

FAU improved to 7-8 on the season, while Tulane fell to 9-10.

Micah Pierce and doubles partner Leigh Van Zyl picked up a 6-2 win over the Owls, but FAU still claimed the doubles point with wins in two matches.

Natalia Fantini secured the first singles point for the Green Wave with a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 6 spot, followed by Campbell Ricci at the No. 1 spot with a 6-3, 7-5 victory. The final point for the Green Wave was scored by Summer Chandler, who won at the No. 2 spot 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.Â

Tulane's next match is April 7 against Southern Miss at 2 p.m. The Golden Eagles are 7-7 on the season.
