Men's Tennis Opens 2017 Fall Season in Florida, Alabama

NEW ORLEANS - Coming off one of the greatest seasons in program history, the Tulane men's tennis team will begin the 2017 fall season Sept. 22-24 by sending players to compete in the Florida Ranked +1 in Gainesville, Fla., and the Alabama Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The Green Wave will send two ITA preseason-ranked singles players to Florida, including 2017 All-American and 13th-ranked Constantin Schmitz, as well as sophomore and 77th-ranked Ewan Moore. Also making the trip will be junior Tyler Schick and sophomore Luis Erlenbusch. Schmitz and Moore will team up in doubles play, while Erlenbusch and Schick will also form a tandem.
In Alabama, junior Eric Wagner, along with sophomores Chase Schupp and Tim Ruetzel will hit the courts for their first action of the season. Ruetzel and Wagner will play as a doubles unit with their first match scheduled for 9 a.m., against Mississippi State's Trevor Foshey and Florian Broska.
