Tulane Women’s Golf Sits in 10th at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas – The Tulane University women's golf team shot a second round score of 312 on Saturday at the 2018 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational and currently sit in 10th place with a two-round total of 622.

The three-day event is being held at the par 72, 6,491-yard University of Texas Golf Club and features five teams in the Golfweek Top 25 Poll.

Junior Haydyn Gibson shot the low round of the day for the Green Wave, as she carded a score of 75. Gibson is tied for 34th after two rounds with a tournament total of 152 and leads all Tulane individuals.

Sophomore Jennifer Rosenberg is the next Tulane individual on the leaderboard, as she is tied for 38th. Rosenberg posted a round two score of 78 and owns a two-day total of 153, heading into the final round of play.

Senior Laura Munoz, junior Gabrielle Correia and senior Sofia Goicoechea rounded out the Green Wave lineup as they tied for 53rd (158), tied 63rd (163) and tied for 63rd (163), respectively.

Texas continues to hold the overall lead after it shot a second-round score of 284. The Longhorns own a two-day total of 575. Hailee Cooper from Texas leads all individuals after two rounds with a total of 139.
