TULANE READIES FOR ROAD BATTLE AGAINST TULSA
-For the first time in three weeks, the Green Wave are on the road Saturday to take on Tulsa. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
-Tulane is coming off a tough 27-23 loss against SMU on Saturday and will be seeking its second conference victory of the season.
-Saturday's game against the Golden Hurricane will be the 15th in the lifetime series between Tulane and Tulsa. Tulsa holds an 11-3 edge in the all-time series, but the Green Wave won the most recent game in 2017.
-In that 2017 game, Tulane had its best offensive output of the season, scoring 62 points in a rout of the Golden Hurricane. The Green Wave had six different players score touchdowns in the contest including four on the ground from former and current Cleveland Browns running back Dontrell Hilliard.

1. The Green Wave will look to move to 2-2 for the first time since joining The American in 2014.Â
2. Tulane will be in search of its second consecutive win against Tulsa. The Green Wave earned a 62-28 win at Yulman Stadium in 2017.
3. Tulane's rushing attack has gained 100 yards or more on the ground in each of the last 34 games.
4. Senior CB Donnie Lewis Jr. had an interception return for a touchdown Saturday against SMU and now has eight career interceptions. The pick-six was Lewis' first and the first at Tulane since Parry Nickerson in 2016 (Sept. 10).Â
5. Junior wide receiver Darnell Mooney (80.0) is currently fifth in The American in receiving yards per game and is 46th in the nation. He is also seventh in the league in receptions per game with 4.6.
6. Junior Darius Bradwell is Tulane's leading rusher this season with 541 yards on 91 carries. Bradwell has scored a team-high six touchdowns and has scored at least one touchdown in five consecutive games. His streak of scoring a touchdown in five straight games is tied for third nationally. Â
7. Bradwell ranks eighth in The American and 49th in the nation with his 78.2 rushing yards per game. He is 29th in the country with 6.01 yards per carry. He needs just 15 yards to reach 1,000 for his career.Â
8. Sophomore defensive end Patrick Johnson tops Tulane with four sacks, a number that puts him fifth in the league. He leads Tulane with seven tackles for loss and has recorded at least one TFL in six straight games.
9. Tulane is a perfect 13 for 13 in scoring on trips to the red zone this season. The Green Wave are one of just seven groups in the nation who remain perfect in red zone scoring this year.
10. Tulane's 2018 slate so far has been the 28th-toughest schedule at the FBS level and fourth-toughest in The American. Tulane's FBS opponents through week eight have a combined winning percentage of .636.Â
