Football Schedules Home-and-Home Matchups with Ragin' Cajuns

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette announced a home-and-home football series for 2024 ad 2027 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Green Wave and Ragin' Cajuns will meet on Sept. 21, 2024, at Cajun Field in Lafayette. Louisiana-Lafayette will then head to New Orleans for a meeting at Yulman Stadium on September 4, 2027.
Tulane and Louisiana-Lafayette are familiar foes, as the pair have faced one another 28 times in their history dating back to 1911. The most recent meeting came in 2016, a 41-39 Green Wave win at Yulman Stadium.
The teams have also played in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. When the teams first met in 1919, Tulane claimed a 73-0 win. The Green Wave won the first 15 meetings in the series between 1911 and 1988.
