Tulane Football to Hold Hero Appreciation Day on Saturday

NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University football will honor some of the area's finest on Saturday as part of Hero Appreciation Day when the Green Wave take on Navy for the final game of the regular season. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. at Yulman Stadium and will be aired live on ESPNU.

Fans can attend the Green Wave's regular season finale for just $5 dollars and sit in the North and South endzones.

Prior to the game, local heroes will raise the No. 18 flag and Boy Scouts will be on the field for the national anthem. Tulane also will recognize its 20 seniors as part of Senior Day.

During the game, Tulane will honor New Orleans policemen, firemen and teachers.

In addition, Tulane will honor members from the Wounded Warriors Project on the field during halftime.
