ORLANDO - For the first time since 2013 and just the 12th time in program history, the Green Wave football team is in a bowl game and Tulane Athletics has you covered. TulaneGreenWave.com will recap each day's activities with tweets, photos and videos through its bowl week blog.
DAY 3
Tulane's final day of preparation begin with a trip to Camping World Stadium. Upon arrival, the team gathered together for a team photo before taking part in its final practice of 2018.
The Green Wave football team's first full day in Orlando featured practice in a different setting, as the team held its practice at an area high school on a grass surface. Tulane's practice on grass marked the first time this year that the Green Wave practiced on grass. The team practiced in uppers and helmets and continued preparation for Louisiana-Lafayette.
The afternoon was spent at Universal Studios toured the park and rode plenty of rides to close out the day.
Tulane football held its final practice at Yulman Stadium on Wednesday and then boarded a plane for Orlando, Florida, the site of the 2018 AutoNation Cure Bowl. Upon the team's departure, the Green Wave were treated to a heroes' send-off at the Wilson Center courtesy of the Tulane band, cheerleaders and Shockwave dance team.
Upon arrival in Orlando, the team was welcomed by members of the of the AutoNation Cure Bowl and escorted to the team's official hotel at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios.
Following a brief introduction to the AutoNation Cure Bowl staff, the team was on the move again as it went to the official welcome reception at CityWalk with Louisiana-Lafayette.
The team closed out the night by exploring the CityWalk and took a trip to the Swag Shop. Freshman punter Ryan Wright (@rjwright34) detailed the team's trip to CityWalk through his Instagram Takeover @GreenWaveFB.

The afternoon featured some friendly competition for a great cause as both Tulane and Louisiana-Lafayette teamed up to package over 20,000 meals for the Feeding Children Everywhere hunger project.
