Tulane Women’s Golf Wraps Up Competition at the Silverado Showdown

FINAL TEAM RESULTS | FINAL INDIVIDUAL RESULTS
NAPA, Calif. – The Tulane University women's golf team wrapped up play at the 2018 Silverado Showdown on Tuesday and finished 17th with a three-round total of 930.
The Green Wave carded a final round team score of 310. As a team, Tulane finished the tournament with 143 pars and 25 birdies.
The three-day event was held at the par 72, 6,202-yard Silverado Resort and Spa.
Freshman Jennifer Rosenberg posted the lowest score on the afternoon for the Green Wave, as she posted a final round score of 75. She closed the tournament with a three-round tally of 227 and tied for 52nd.
Junior Laura Munoz and sophomore Haydyn Gibson were the next Tulane finishers, as both tied for 78th, finishing with a three-round total of 235.
Junior Sofia Goicoechea and sophomore Gabrielle Correia rounded out the Green Wave lineup, as they finished 85th (238) and 86th (241), respectively.
USC won the team championship, finishing with a total score of 859. USC's Jennifer Chang and UCLA's Patty Tavatanakit earned co-medalist honors after they posted tournament totals of 208.
The Silverado Showdown served as the Green Wave's final tune-up before the American Athletic Conference Championship. Competition in the AAC championship will begin on Sunday.
