
Incoming Freshman Competes in Bowling Tournament of The Americas, Places Top Three in Team Events

NEW ORLEANS - Incoming freshman Crystal Singh competed in the 2018 Lee Evans Bowling Tournament of The Americas from August 5-11, winning medals in both her doubles and team events.
Representing the second-ranked United States team in the tournament, Singh and her partner, Patricia Rosales, placed second in the Junior A Women (U 20) doubles category by scoring a combined total of 2,460 points in six games.
In the Junior A (U-20) mixed doubles competition, Singh and her partner, Wyatt Smith, placed third with a total of 2,237 points in six games.
Her United States 2 team placed second overall in the team events and also in the national events for the Junior A 16-19 category.
Singh, a former high school All-American, individual Florida High School State Champion and 2016 and 2017 Broward County Bowler of the Year, will begin competing for the Green Wave bowling program this fall.
