Tulane Football to Partner with WWL Sports This Fall

NEW ORLEANS – With the 2018 season fast approaching, Tulane University Athletics will once again partner with WWL Sports to highlight the Green Wave football program.
New for 2018, WWL will open the season with a half-hour special honoring the 20th anniversary of Tulane's 1998 team, which finished the year with a perfect 12-0 record.
The special will air on WUPL on Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m., and will feature interviews from former head coach Tommy Bowden and legendary quarterback Shaun King. The special also will air again on WWL at 11 p.m. following Fourth Down on Four.
WWL's coverage will continue throughout the fall, as the station will feature exclusive 100-yard interviews with Tulane coaches and student-athletes that will air weekly on the station's sports broadcasts.
The Green Wave open the 2018 season on Thursday, Aug. 30 at home against Wake Forest.
