Johnson's victory in the 400 IM gave the Indiana native her second medal of the championships.Â
Â
"I'm just grateful to be here," Johnson said. "This is basically my home pool. I've been swimming here since I was nine years old, so it definitely feels like home."

Not far behind Johnson's winning time was junior Jordan Morling, who finished runner-up in a time of 4:15.53. Morling's time also hit the NCAA B-cut standard.
Â
Senior Paris Zhang kept the Green Wave's momentum rolling with a third-place finish in the 100 backstroke, as she posted a school record performance of 53.94. Her time in the race also earned her a NCAA B-cut performance. Zhang trimmed nearly a second off her season-best time.
