Tulane Athletics Sets Inaugural Winterfest for October 24

NEW ORLEANS – With heightened anticipation heading into the winter sports season, Tulane University Athletics is excited to announce its inaugural Winterfest celebration on Thursday, October 24 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse.

Admission is free for all fans, and parking will be available at no cost in the Loyola University Garage on Freret Street. Concession stands will be open with food and drink available for purchase.

Fans will have the chance to meet the Green Wave's winter sports teams (men's basketball, women's basketball, bowling and women's swimming and diving) and engage in many activities with coaches and student-athletes including giveaways, autographs, photo stations, face painting and inflatable games for kids.

Sponsored by Loft 18, the Willie Fritz Radio Show will air live inside Fogelman in Devlin.

On-site sponsor activations will be available, while ticket sales staff will be available to answer questions about the upcoming men's and women's basketball seasons.
