Sep 30, 2019 | Women's Beach Volleyball
NEW ORLEANS – The Tulane beach volleyball team is set to host two additional clinics this fall, head coach Eyal Zimet announced Tuesday.
The clinics, which will be held on Friday, Oct. 18 and Friday, Nov. 22, are open to individuals between 14 and 18 years old.
Priced at $120 per person (10 percent discount available for Tulane staff and Louisiana residents), the clinic will be held at the White Sands Volleyball Courts with check-in beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The three-hour clinic is set to begin at 8 a.m. and end at 11 a.m. and will be followed by an opportunity to eat lunch at Tulane's main dining hall, go on a tour of campus and have a meeting with the team's support staff (per NCAA compliance rules).
Both Zimet and assistant coach Katie Horton enter their first season with the Green Wave this fall.
Zimet played beach volleyball competitively for more than 20 years before spending eight years as a coach at Dartmouth and San Francisco, while Horton has just started her collegiate coaching career in New Orleans after coaching club and high school following a standout undergraduate campaign at Florida State.
