
Clark Named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Junior Arsula Clark of the Tulane University women's basketball team was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced today.
Clark opened the week with a team-high 21 points. She logged six rebounds, one assist and a career-high seven steals in the Green Wave's 64-62 win over Tulsa. The Miami native followed that performance up with 17 points, six rebounds, two assists and four steals, while going a perfect 11-11 from the free throw line in Tulane's 59-55 win over Memphis.
Clark leads the team with 2.1 steals per game and ranks second for the Olive and Blue with 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. This is the third time she as earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll after being named to the list on Nov. 11 and Nov. 18. Juniors Krystal Freeman (Dec. 30) and Sierra Cheatham (Jan. 6) are the only other Tulane players to collect the honor this season.
The Green Wave will be back in action as they continue conference play at SMU on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Dallas, Texas.
