Tulane Athletics Announces Ticket Assurance Plan for 2020
May 20, 2020 | Football
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Athletics announced today the Ticket Assurance Plan for season ticket holders in preparation for the 2020 Green Wave fall football seasons at Yulman Stadium.
Â
"Our season ticket holders are our most loyal fans," Tulane Director of Athletics Troy Dannen said. "Our fans commitment to giving back and purchasing season tickets is paramount to the success of Tulane Athletics. With that said, we want our fans, to feel comfortable with their commitment to Tulane Athletics."

Â
Tulane Athletics has identified the following options for Green Wave fans to feel secure in their purchase in the event that the 2020 football season is impacted in any way due to COVID-19.
Â
If games are not played, or played with restricted fan access that prevents your ticket from being used, you will have the following choices for games impacted:Â
1.     Transfer the balance to the Green Wave Club (GWC) as a 100 percent tax-deductible donation. Â
2.     Receive 110 percent credit to your account for future ticket purchases.  Â
3.     Receive a full refund for impacted games. Â
 Â
Since your tickets may come with a requirement for a donation to the GWC, these are your options for reassignment of the gift.
1.     Reassignment of GWC donation to 100 percent tax-deductible donation. Â
2.     Defer your gift as a credit to future GWC Priority Seating required donations.  Â
Â
Additionally, Tulane Athletics offers multiple payment plans (two, three and four month plans) for season ticket purchases should fans need to space out their payments. Past ticket holders should renew their football season tickets for the 2020 season before the deadline of Monday, June 15 to ensure their same seat location.
Â
In addition to the Ticket Assurance Plan, Tulane Athletics is hard at work preparing the safety policies and procedures plan to keep our fans, student-athletes and staff safe. Fans can visit TulaneGreenWave.com for the latest updates throughout the summer as these measures are put in place.Â

Fans can renew their season tickets, purchase new season tickets or make a donation to the Green Wave Club by visiting www.tulanetix.com or emailing gowavego@tulane.edu for more information.
Â
Tulane enters the 2020 season following a strong 2019 campaign that saw the Green Wave close out the year with a win over Southern Mississippi in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. Tulane's postseason victory over the Golden Eagles marked the first time in program history in which the Green Wave had won a bowl game in back-to-back seasons.
Â
The Green Wave return 22 players who have started in at least one game from last year's team. Earlier this year, the Green Wave secured the second-best recruiting class in the American Athletic Conference.
