Jun 26, 2020 | General
NEW ORLEANS – Tulane University Athletics continued its strong commitment to community service, as it ranked fourth nationally in the NCAA Helper Helper Challenge rankings, as Green Wave student-athletes combined for 4,700 community service hours.
Tulane's top 25 ranking in the NCAA Helper Helper Challenge marks the fourth straight year Green Wave student-athletes have ranked in the Top 25.
"I am extremely proud of the work our student-athletes do in the community," said Assistant Athletics Director, Student-Athlete Enhancement Dr. Cornell Sneed. "To perform almost 10,000 hours of service between last year and this year is an incredible feat. Our student-athletes, coaches, and staff do an amazing job prioritizing giving back to the community."
Tulane baseball, men's tennis, football, beach volleyball, women's track and field/cross country, women's tennis, and swimming and diving all posted 10 top finishes in the challenge rankings.
